Seriously, It's not outrage I feel but rather I am dumbfounded as I contemplate who we are placing our trust in.
First off, did all businesses really need to be closed?
If you are a small business who had been following required protocol, having only 2 - 6 people in your space depending on your square footage, at any given time, sanitizing everything!, wearing masks and staying minimum 6 ft apart, wouldn't that have been enough to keep small businesses open?
I really don't believe the big virus spread occurred from this type of situation. Or furniture stores or protocol abiding restaurant patios who spent money they didn't have to retrofit, adding heaters, outdoor walls, patio furniture, awnings... $1000's to make it safe and comfortable.
Meanwhile we discover the virus running rampant in long term care homes where nothing had been done to make their clients safe and comfortable until the army intervened. Yet this was one of the major virus spread areas.
What about all of the big businesses that were allowed to remain open until recently with bare minimum safety protocol. How does that make the already struggling small business across the street feel?
Don't even get me started on the crowded planes arriving from overseas while we were not allowed 1 visitor at our home even if 6 feet apart wearing a hazmat suit and a wall of Lysol in between.
The almost forgotten, "Masks are ineffective/wear a Mask even if vaccinated" contradiction.
Then the whole vaccine propaganda which was to eliminate the virus and protect everyone. The vaccine is going to eliminate the virus, but then the mutants came along for 3rd wave.
I know personally, 2 people who were infected with Covid after having both recommended shots and a young man who died from the Astra Zeneca Vax due to the 'rare' Thrombosis occurence, along with countless others who have experienced challenging side effects.
I have so much more to say as I don't believe we were told the whole truth but I realize this post is becoming 'ranty so I'll stop there.
I just feel that our leaders who are handsomely paid to think, could have put a bit more thought into the process of forever affecting the lives of so many people.
' Willy nilly' comes to mind. Do we not deserve better than Willy Nilly?
